After declaring the lead cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi and Osman Khalid Butt, it has been revealed that Farhan, who previously played a Major of the Army Special Forces in his debut film Maalik, will feature as an air force captain in Parwaaz Hai Junoon.
The actor considers himself a born ‘fauji’ and says he needed no training for the role.
When we asked Farhan if he had to go undergo any training for this role, he labelled himself a born armyman.
We’ll wait to see how his natural knack for the military roles shines on the big screen.
Parwaaz Hai Junoon is being produced in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force and hopes to pay tribute to the armed forces by highlighting true events. It will also feature real-life air force pilots and personalities alongside the lead cast.
The film releases this year.
