One killed and six injured in a clash among traders and security personnel at the Pak-Afghan border’s Friendship Gate near Chaman, Quetta on Sunday.

It is reported that the protesting traders congregated at the Friendship Gate and urged the security personnel to let them pass. Upon refusal, the traders started bombarding the security personnel with stones and burnt tyres near the gate. The situation quickly escalated when one of the protesting traders opened fire on the security personnel.
