Designer Karl Lagerfeld made two models wear white robot helmets which lead the fashion house’s collection and later turned out to be the highlight of the Paris Fashion Week: With Chanel’s famous interlacing “C”s logo rendered with computer wires.

When asked if the collection had a slightly 1970’s look; Lagerfeld replied waspishly: “I do collections for today. The ideas of the 1970’s I remember, thank you very much.”
