The Turkish actress Esra Bilgic started dating Turkish football player Gökhan Töre in 2014. In 2017, the couple tied the knot in the presence of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
Yet there was no fairy tale ending to this love story. Two years later in 2018, the couple decided to go for a divorce.
Apparently, the divorce process took no more than 10 minutes.
How was the legal process wrapped up in 10 minutes? Turns out Esra Bilgiç renounced all claims to Gökhan Töre’s property. In return, Gokhan said that he has no problems with his wife, during a court meeting.
Since the Ramo star willingly gave up her alimony, the court sessions were not dragged out to finalize the settlement.
According to the reports the couple was torn apart after Gökhan Töre’s alleged infidelity (he was unfaithful to her). Esra Biligic stood her ground on the matter and walked away gracefully despite being heartbroken.
Since then, she’s been focused on work and is even studying law at İstanbul Şehir University. The starlet is still single, and there’s no saying when she’ll think of marriage again.
