Facts that will make you feel proud of Pakistan!

Pakistan is unique by its own culture and traditions but there are few other facts that make Pakistan prominent in different ways. We’ve always been criticizing and bashing against our country. Why do we forget the things and facts that make us proud, further highlighting our country as a prosperous one in front of other countries. Maybe most of you won’t be aware of them so let’s have a look.

1.       World’s 26th largest economy

 Pakistan is the first Islamic country to attain nuclear power. It ranks 26th in the largest economies of the world and has the second best performing stock exchange. Pakistani armed forces are internationally ranked as the seventh largest in the world, with the man power of 642,000. Pakistan provides the largest number of troops to serve the UN peacekeeping missions.

2.       Fourth smartest people in the world

 

According to a poll organized by the Institute of European Business Administration, from 125 countries, Pakistanis have been ranked the fourth most intelligent people across the globe. We have the seventh largest collection of scientists and engineers.

The world’s youngest certified Microsoft experts, notifying that the late Arfa Karim and Babar Iqbal both hailed from Pakistan. Whereas, Haroon Tariq, Ali Moeen Nawazish and Moosa Firoz are also  globally recognised achievers. 

3.       Top national anthem tune in the world

 Pakistan’s national anthem is the number one ranked tune in the world. Hafeez Jullundhri’s words were composed by musician Ahmad G. Chagla. Pakistan also holds the record of most people singing the anthem, simultaneously.

4.       Breath-taking beauty

Pakistan is counted in the list of most beautiful countries in the world. It is the land full of beauty. Almost every year one million visitors come to Pakistan and enjoy the breathtaking tourist spots here.  

5.       The second largest salt mine – Khewra

History of this second largest salt mine in the world is from 320 BC. Its beauty attracts tourism every year.

6.       World’s largest man made forest

Changa Manga is one of the largest man-planned and man-grown forest in the world. It covers the area of approximately 12,000 acres.

7.       Edhi is the world’s largest ambulance network

Edhi is the world’s largest non-profit welfare foundation that has served in several emergency or incidental situations.
