Finally the live gig culture has arrived in Pakistan, all thanks to Levi’s for creating a platform for those who know their passion for music. “Levi’s Live” the initiative taken by Levi’s finally took off on Saturday, September 24th at Riot Studios.
As the idea is to inspire and empower the next-gen musicians and artists, the stage was all set for the rocking and energetic performances along with the super-amazing crowd comprising of music-fanatics. It was surely a night for those for whom music is a way of life.
The opening night acts are always considered pre-eminent, hence the best of the best was delivered by Maria Unera – A budding singer and a promising future star, Abdullah Qureshi – A young talented boy with thunderous vocals, and last but not the least, king of drumming and one of the brains behind the well needed concept, Farhad Humayun.
Setting the stage on fire, these talented artists started off a culture which will grow and grow like wildfire. The coordination was quite commendable when it came to sharing the stage between aspiration and inspiration. The talent, the music, the performances and the paroxysm of showing the world, what Pakistani musicians are capable of. This is going to be one hell of a ride.
May the fever of music grow high upon us all, Amen!
