Actress Deepika Padukone after going through a lot of controversies and rumoured cat-fights with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, has finally stated that she is fond of them; personally and professionally.
During a fun and grilling session with Katrina and Anushka on ‘Koffee with Karan’, both were asked if Deepika was their good friend or not, to which they unanimously replied “NO”. Owing to the churning love-hate relationship, Ms. Padukone was recently asked if there is always a competition between actresses rather than friendship. She said:
“I wouldn’t say it is a competition. But sometimes you have a certain feeling for other people and they don’t necessarily feel the same way about you. But that’s okay.”
“I am extremely fond of Katrina and Anushka professionally and personally. I wish them all the best,” she further stated.
Well, we don’t know if Deepika is employing sheer professionalism and diplomacy here, or this is just another tactic to stay in media’s good books. Time will definitely tell!
