George Clooney’s sister-in-law jailed 3 weeks & fined for drink-driving!

George Clooney’s sister-in-law was sentenced to three weeks behind bars after being convicted of drunk driving — again — in Singapore, according to a report.

Tala Alamuddin Le Tallec — the sister of human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and a permanent resident of Singapore — pleaded guilty on Monday to multiple charges, including drunk driving and driving without insurance, The Straits Times reported.

The 47-year-old fashion designer was driving her husband’s BMW X5 around 2:30 a.m. May 13 when cops stopped her.

Prior to getting behind the wheel, she gulped down two glasses of wine and a glass of champagne while out to dinner with a friend, prosecutors said.

Staff Sergeant Alvin Lee said she struggled to find the vehicle’s brake and that she reeked of alcohol when he stopped her.

When she went to fish her driver’s license out of a bag in the rear passenger seat, she hit the gas pedal briefly by accident, he said.

A breathalyzer test showed she was over the legal limit and she was arrested.

In addition to the jail time, she was fined $6,400 and will be disqualified from driving for four years following her release.

Her lawyer said the mom-of-four was “genuinely remorseful” and claimed she was suffering consequences from the “unwarranted publicity [of her case] for reasons beyond her control.”

Le Tallec was previously convicted of drunk driving in 2013 and disqualified from getting behind the wheel for two years. She also faced offenses of careless driving in 2010 and inconsiderate driving in 2004.

She lived in New York before marrying Singapore-based businessman Nagi Hamiyeh, but reportedly later married an Italian businessman.

One of her children, a daughter named Mia, was the flower girl at George and Amal’s Venice wedding in 2014, according to a magazine.
