In today’s world, everything changes very fast. Globalisation has changed the world and made it really small. Good old days is basically a cliché in culture used to reference a time considered by the speaker to be better than the current era. It is actually a form of nostalgia which can reflect homesickness for long gone moments. It is a period of time in the past that a person thinks were pleasant and better than the pleasant time.
Every gathering at my place, my cousin’s sit and mesmerise their “good old days”. As I sit there I wonder ‘Why was the good old days so good?’. When I began to think about it, I seem to understand. The first thing that most parents or older people tend to mention is the fact that they had no worries back that time. Another thing that I had noticed was the fact that they had little or technology and lastly, everything back then was much cheaper. How we were carefree at that time. No tension of social media, mobile phones, everything used to be so peaceful.
