Game to Thrones is just left with the last episode of it’s final season, HBO has dropped the trailer for its two-hour documentary about filming of the final season.
Titled Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, the documentary will chronicle the making of the final season.
The minute-long trailer shows showrunner D B Weiss, speaking to the cast at the final table read where he says, “This is strange. Here we are at the last table read. It’s like looking around and seeing your family.”
The trailer also shows a dramatic cut of Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow becoming overwhelmed with emotion at the words on the page.
Directed by British filmmaker Jeanie Finlay, the documentary “delves deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved in the challenge of bringing the fantasy world of Westeros to life in the very real studios, fields and car-parks of Northern Ireland.”
Game of Thrones: The Last Watch will air on May 26, the week after the final episode of Game of Thrones.
