No wonder that Alia recently took out time to visit Shahid, Mira, and their little girl Misha at their seaside home in suburban Mumbai.
While Shahid was already on board for the role of Tommy Singh, he was the one who felt Alia was perfect to play the role of the village girl without a name.
Recently held Big Zee awards, Shahid revealed that he was pretty sure Alia was the ideal choice for the role. Not just that, he even slyly passed on the script of the film to her. He persisted Alia to come on board for the film and it took almost a year to get her nod. Since Alia was busy with other films around that time, Shahid gave her as much time as she needed to get done with her pending projects.
