How To Do Ombré Lips

Ombré lips were very popular during  90s. It could be seen in movies and fashion shows and how models were always doing Ombré lips. Now currently it is again introduced by Beauty Bloggers, YouTube makeup artists and everyone is coming up with a lot of Ombre lip shades, recreating and giving tutorials on how to do it. It features a dark lip liner with a contrasting light or nude shade to be put in the center of the lips and then top it off with a gloss which gives lips a glass finish look.

To create ombré lips the first step is to prep your lips by exfoliating and moisturising them so that they are smooth and not flaky. Then line your lips with a dark brown shade lip liner to give a depth and shadow to your lips so that they look fuller.  Then use a lip brush to blend the lip liner towards the inside of the lip to give it a more natural look. Then apply a lip colour in the center of your lips depending on what colour you like but it should be a light pinkish or nude lip colour. And then blend it a bit with the lip liner to give a smooth look. Lastly top it off with a clear gloss. Loreal’s pro gloss plump in mirror lip gloss is really good. It gives a very plump and glass effect to the lips and works best to create Ombre lips.
