Kajol recently shared a video on her Instagram and Facebook page, where she was being served ‘beef pepper water with dry lentils and dry beef’ by her friend Ryan Stephen. It was a friends get together for lunch. The video went viral and obviously Indians started criticizing her for eating beef.
In the video, Kajol, asks Ryan to explain the dish. And the description is what got her into trouble. Soon after getting negative comments, she deleted the clip from her Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Kajol, after deleting the video, shared a message in which she explained that the dish in the video was made from buffalo meat and not beef (cow meat).

24 out of 29 states in India, like Maharashtra and UP, banned Beef in several parts of the country, also the slaughtering or sale of cows is banned.
