Kangana Ranaut with a reported salary of INR 14 crores has become the highest paid actress in the Indian movie industry. Previously it was Deepika who was the highest paid actress in Bollywood but now it’s Kangana.
Kangana took this whopping amount for Manikanika – The Queen of Jhansi which is expected to be released in January 2019.
The gender pay gap in Bollywood has been widely talked about with male actors making several times the amount as their female counterparts. Deepika was the first to break through this when she earned more than Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for Padmaavat.
