Kangana Ranaut talks about women empowerment

Kangana Ranaut is know for her opinionated nature in Bollywood. She has been talking about empowering women on different platforms. Her films depict her opinions which can be seen in Fashion, Queen and her upcoming films Maanikarnika. Her upcoming film is a biopic of powerful warrior. According to Business Standard Ranaut gave a statement about how people need to stop suppressing women.

She further talked about how even looking back at her childhood she recalled how she was an obedient child but when she needed to break free she just took off filmmaking ways for herself. She also told how no one from her family was allowed to talk to her however her mother would hide and call her just to ask one question “What did You eat?”

In this process she learned the power of a woman and she is a firm believer how women don’t need to be empowered they are already powerful referring to how the society should just give them the space to grow even stronger. She added that is the very reason human race exists, how can we empower them? She talked about the fierce character which she will be playing of Rani Laxmibai in her Manikarnika.
