The man who allegedly hacked into various celebrity online accounts, including that of Jennifer Lawrence has been arrested and imprisoned for nine months. Hacker Edward Majerczyk, 29, is accused of stealing private information, which included nude videos and photos.
He was claimed of making a phishing scheme that maneuvered victims into giving their usernames and passwords. Majerczyk, from Chicago, was demanded to pay an unnamed celebrity £4,900 after their photos were leaked and later shared online. However, he was not charged or accused of selling nor posting the material online.
