Pixar story artist Rob Gibbs, who worked on Toy Story, dies at 55

Story artist, writer and director of many Pixar projects Rob Gibbs has passed away at the age of 55.

A company spokesman confirmed the tragic news, although cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Gibbs has contributed to many Pixar films, from Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo to Up, Wall-E, Inside Out and the latest offering Onward.

Before joining Pixar in 1998 he worked on several notable films such as FernGully: The Last Rainforest(1992), Cool World (1992) and Disney’s Pocahontas (1995) and Fantasia 2000 (1999).
