The James Gun directorial suicide squad is growing, according to sources actor Michael Rooker is in talks to join the already studded cast.
Michael Rooker is not new to the comic books world, as he played Merle Dixon in the AMC series The Walking Dead from 2010-2013 and Yondu Udonta in both Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 directed by James Gunn.
James Gun, who is back and ready to join marvel clan once again to direct the third instalment to the Guardians movie. During his controversial break DC approached him to direct the sequel for Suicide Squad.
James Gunn is set to introduce new characters to the sequel including Polka-Dot Man, Peacemaker and King Shark, and Michael Rooker is in talks to play DC’s super-villain. He is all set to add his own taste to the franchise.
But still with no official confirmation of casting made at this time about The Suicide Squad’s new characters, this story will take a new turn with his direction.
