Pakistani artist, model, activist, motivational speaker, singer, and television host – Muniba Mazari doesn’t need any further introduction. Even though she is on a wheelchair, but has made a great space in our hearts in no time through her motivational speeches.
A former fighter pilot of Pakistan Air Force – Khurram Shahzad, who married Muniba on December 26, 2005, has approached a court against her for “blaming and bashing him for all her afflictions”. He married Muniba on December 26, 2005.
According to Shahzad, it was February 27, 2008, while he was posted at PAF base Quetta and both were travelling from Quetta to their hometown while he was driving the car. When they reached near Jacobabad suddenly a donkey cart appeared on the road and they met an accident in which Muniba sustained serious injuries. According to him, he opted for the best medical facility for Muniba at Agha Khan Hospital despite having the provision of free treatment available at military hospitals.
He further said that after recovering from this trauma, they were upset because of not having any child. In the opinion of doctors, Muniba could give birth to a baby but it was agreed mutually to go for adoption. In order to strengthen their relation, they adopted a baby boy on 12 April 2011 when he was only four days old and looked after him like their own real son. Being an esteemed officer of the defence forces, he could not allow Muniba to continue such practices and eventually tried to stop her. Muniba instead of stopping, with her free will and choice left the house in September 2014 along with the adopted son.
Apparently, Muniba herself obtained for Khulla from the court of Humaira Afzal of Islamabad on June 12, 2015 and as we all have heard Muniba blaming and defaming her ex-husband because of what she had gone through, it’s painful for Shahzad and his family, which is why he has filed a suit against Muniba in the court of additional district on account of libelous and baseless statements of Muniba against him.
Lets’s see how Muniba will respond to the situation!
