Nadia Jamil also known as Nadia Fazal Jamil, is a Pakistani actress and also a host for ‘Balu Mahi, Damsa and Behadd’. She was born in London on 19th of October, 1975, later she moved to Lahore when she was only nine years old. She holds a Masters of English degree in Literature. She completed her Bachelor’s in Drama and creative writing at Hampshire College, USA. She further completed her international fellowship at the Globe theatre, in London. Nadia Jamil has been a Pakistani actress and host for the past two decades. Nadia Jamil is a trustee of Sunjan Nagar as well, which is Raza Kazmi’s school for financially deprived girls. She also teaches theatre and drama and is working on a few projects with institutes like Oxford University Press and Aitchison, kids campus.
She is married to Ali Pervaiz and is a mother to two sons, Pakar and Mir Vali. Nadia was diagnosed with stage 1 breast Cancer/ grade 3 tumour. She underwent successful surgery soon afterward and by august she was out of danger. Nadia Jamil has also worked in a video ‘Alvida’, which is a Cancer awareness campaign. Nadia Jamil also shared that she was sexually abused at the age of 4.
