Shahid Kapoor’s fitness routine for Padmavati is extremely motivating!

Being fit and healthy is an essential part of every person’s life and almost all celebrities are required to maintain their fitness and physique. Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Padmavati’, and according to the local reporters, lately he has been working out overtime to create his look for the film, he is playing the character of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in the film. Mumbai-based Canadian Chef Kelvin Cheung has been helping the actor with his diet plans. Chef Kelvin has made a special diet for him, which comprises of three meals and two snacks in a day.

Shahid’s diet plan includes basic greens like broccoli, kale and spinach, along with grains that are rich in protein. The actor is allowed to treat himself to a snack of sweet potatoes once in a while.

“Shahid has always been fit and healthy but he also needs an energy boost to survive the long working hours of this arduous schedule and the aim is to efficiently give him stronger muscle mass while maintaining the aesthetics of his look.” said Chef Kelvin.

According to Shahid himself, “I follow a high-energy diet with lots of vegetables. Fitness has always been a part of who I am. Even though it can be tougher, it’s completely worth it and satisfying at the end of the day.” 

“He’s completely focused and always prepared to follow a meal design,” said Kelvin.

The film ‘Padmavati’ is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid will be seen as the leading roles. It is set to release in November 2017.
