Starbucks is officially launching in Pakistan!

Starbucks needs no introduction. The largest coffeehouse network has made waves around the world for all sort of coffees; and true to its purpose, one cannot resist temptation after drinking its steaming hot cup!

Today Starbucks has around 23,768 coffeehouses worldwide; including 13,107 in the United States, 2,204 in China, 1,418 in Canada, 1,160 in Japan and 872 in South Korea. But, Pakistan is one of those unfortunate countries which has been deprived of this extreme coffee pleasure. No, Not any more! Starbucks is finally coming our way, and we can bet that it is going to be bigger, better and fit-for-king kind of affair in Pakistan.

According to the sources, Karachi or Islamabad would be the first ones’ to get an official outlet. Additionally, Starbucks will be bringing its signature “Ready Brew” made with fresh roasted coffee beans, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Caramel Mocha, new Chile Mocha, scones, cakes, muffins, and a lot more. I bet you will be drooling at the moment. So, are you ready to take your coffee addiction to another level? I, still, cannot believe that we will be having Starbucks and that too in Pakistan? Till it comes, let me daydream!

UPDATE : (22nd October 2016)

Most of the acclaimed websites are denying that this news is just a rumour and that Starbucks is not coming to Pakistan. Moreover, they have also contacted an XYZ spokesperson working for Starbucks, backing their statement. The thing that needs to be mentioned and clarified here is that an international, reputable brand never discloses its inside information, prior to the actual launch date or venue. As far as my source is concerned; “A journalist never reveals its source of news.”

Some time ago, when the news of Debenhams, Splash and Next, along with the other international brands’ launch was first disclosed, they were also considered as rumours; and the fact is that these brands are now operating successfully in Pakistan.

I don’t understand why we underestimate Pakistan for being incapable of hosting international brands without any hindrances? If its a wishful thinking or not, time will definitely tell! Till then, wait for the everlasting sip of your favourite coffee.
