This Pakistani photographer is capturing life in lockdown with a balcony series

With Covid-19 resulting in a lockdown, people are coming up with creative ways to remain productive.

Photographer Areesh Zubair took on an interesting project not only relevant to the current situation but also plays by the rules. He calls it Duur se Portrait.
“I am doing this balcony portrait series,” said the photographer in a post. “In which I’ll go to people’s homes to take their portrait from the street. While they are on their balcony [or] terrace.”

He made sure to mention that he’s “following all the social distancing protocols” while carrying on the project.

“Trying to make most out of our current situation!”

So far we’re enjoying the idea and the pictures, especially the cute story behind each photo.
