Valentines Day for Cows or for Humans ? Valentines day which is celebrated as the day full of love, specially for the couples, be it girlfriend/boyfriend, fiancé, or husband/wife or could be friends too. It is basically a day to celebrate love and love only. It is celebrated every year on 14th of February. In India, recently the Animal Welfare Board of India has appealed to cow lovers in the country to celebrate 14th of February’Valentines Day’ as ‘Cow Hug Day’. The appeal signed by Animal Welfare Board said that it was issued with the approval of a Competent authority. Confirming this to TOI, AWBI assistant secretary Prachi Jain said: “It’s just an appeal to cow lovers. We have not planned any special event around it on the occasion due to paucity of time this year. But the Board may plan some events from next year onwards.”
