Watch the trailer for the penultimate episode of Game Of Thrones

WARNING: THIS ARTICLE IS LITERALLY AN ARTICLE ABOUT THE NEXT EPISODE OF GAME OF THRONES. EXPECT SPOILERS.

Here you are – if you’ve just watched the fourth episode of Game of Thrones, why not get yourself in the mood for the next one by watching this trailer.

Wow. You think that Game of Thrones has become predictable and easy, then something like that happens.

Episode four of the final ever series of HBO‘s fantasy masterpiece just aired, and – like every good instalment of GoT – it leaves us with as many questions as we got answers.

First off, Missandei and Rhaegar the dragon have bitten the dust. Missandei got her head hacked off by The Mountain in a show of force for Cersei Lannister, Rhaegar got stuck with gigantic spears and shot from the sky by Euron Greyjoy.

It is not looking good for the combined forces aiming to topple Cersei and her evil lot from the Iron Throne.

They’re one strategist and two dragons down from where they started. The odds aren’t fantastic numerically either after they were subjected to the biggest battle Westeros (or television, for that matter) has ever seen.

Oh, and on top of that, it looks like a few people are starting to question the formerly supreme authority of the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.

Probably because she’s now looking pretty damn set on the idea of going in there an incinerating her way to Cersei and turning into a Mad Queen.

If she’s not already the Mad Queen, she’s certainly now the Not-Impressed-One-Fucking-Bit Queen.

So, what can we learn from the trailer, then?

Well, not a great deal. There’s some atmospheric music that sounds like a ticking clock. You don’t need to be a genius to figure that one out.

There’s a lot of shots of people standing around waiting for a battle to begin. That’s also pretty self-explanatory.

What there isn’t is a lot of information given away about what is going to happen exactly and who it involves.

It does at least look as if they’ve figured the colour balance out, though. That’s a start.

Perhaps it is for the best that we don’t know. As the last episode proved, sometimes it is better not to see the fleet firing super-sized spears before they pierce straight through the proverbial dragons neck.

We’ll just have to wait and see, and that’s kinda the point.

Who will win the Battle of King’s Landing? Is Dany going to turn into her dad? Give us your angle on all things Westerosi over at Game of Thrones: Westeros Posting on Facebook.

The fifth episode of the final season of Game of Thrones will aGame Of Thrones 8 epiir at 2am on Monday 13thMay, then repeat that same day at 9pm in the UK.
