The popular couple will be seen together after a long time. The drama is being directed by Syed Ahmed Kamran, who has numerous top rated dramas on his credit which includes Zun Mureed, Muhabbat Aag Si, Digest Writer and many others.
The script is penned by Asma Nabeel, who is getting applauded for her stories on social issues. Baandi is one of such dramas too, which will highlight the issues of labour class.
Asma Nabeel shares Baandi is a project that is very close to her heart. The issue is very sensitive and it will raise a lot of questions and may answer a lot more. As a society where we are heading, sometimes becomes questionable to me. I cannot reveal much about the project but the only thing I would like to say is the old times of Ghulams and Baandis is no more.
