Anwar Maqsood’s ‘Kyun Nikala’ set for release on Independence Day!

Anwar Maqsood’s most recent play Kyun Nikala is set to be staged in theaters on the eve of Independence Day.

The play will be screened at the Arts Council, Karachi at 10:30 pm on August 13.

During a press conference in Karachi Maqsood said that the play was composed before it turned into a political slogan. Besides, he expressed that he came into a agreement with the Director Dawar Mehmood that none of his words will be discarded from the play.

While discussing the play, Maqsood said the play is related to a cook giving his services to a PML-N pioneer throughout the previous 30 years.

The dramatist additionally said that the entire piece will include the upcoming general elections, featuring every political party. He hoped that no political party will object to the artistic play.

He quipped that July 25, the scheduled for the polls, will ‘free the masses’ and urged the voters to exercise their right carefully as a major ‘bidding’ of candidates occurs during the polls.

‘Mujhey kyun nikala’ turned into a famous wording after the dismissed head Nawaz Sharif used it as a political slogan at his public rallies to garner public support against his disqualification by the best court on July 28, 2017, in the Panama Papers case.
