The Uri Attack has led to the ban of Pakistani artists in India. Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s concert was supposed to be organized by Koncept Entertainment on October 15th at Leisure Valley park in Gurgaon Sector 29.
Indian Deputy Commissioner Satyaprakash said: “We are just issuing an advisory to the organizers that since sentiments of the armed forces are concerned, they should defer the concert. There are chances of public protest or incidents like shoe-hurling. But if they (organizers) want to go ahead with the concert, we have to provide security, but half-heartedly.”
Further, a letter was issued by members of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Kranti Dal to the Deputy Commissioner stating that “if the event takes place, and any incident happens because of it, the district administration will be responsible”.
