HBO Spain ‘accidentally’ broadcasted next week’s episode of season 7 of the cult TV show. According to media reports, the sixth episode of the ongoing season, titled ‘Death is the Enemy’ was aired in full by the HBO channel in Spain overnight – full five days before its scheduled release.
The episode was available on-demand to the subscribers in Spain for one hour before being removed, but it was already too late.
HBO is having a rough week. The latest leak comes after an earlier episode of Game of Thrones season 7, handled by a contractor to News Corp’s Star India, which was also leaked online.
Before that, an episode of season 6 was also mistakenly uploaded by HBO a few hours before its official broadcast.
HBO is also involved in a hacking scandal, where Game of Thrones scripts and storylines from the current season have also been leaked online.
