Is Azelaic Acid worth it ??

Anyone with acne knows how frustrating it is to treat and not getting the results you need. From high end treatments to house hold remedies you try everything in your control, but when you see those red dots in mirror you lose all hope, But many people are raving about this one acne-fighting ingredient which is often overlooked: Azelaic Acid and trust me its absolutely worth it.

Azelaic acid is often recommended for people dealing with acne, skin irritation, scars and pigmentation issues. Research suggests it can help lighten the hyper-pigmentation issues in skin such as melasma and post-acne dark spots.

People get worried when they hear acid, but It is a dicarboxylic acid that is naturally derived from grains, including wheat and barley. In its natural state, it’s a white powder so that’s why its safe to use.

It also have some antibacterial properties that contribute both to its acne-fighting capabilities and its effectiveness at helping calm and prevent inflammation and also reduce the oil production process of skin.

If you have super sensitive skin, you might find that your skin has a slight reaction, but generally azelaic acid is safe to use for everyone. As it is a natural exfoliatant, it’s important that you use a suns-cream with it.
