Around $25000 per week. It starts in the early morning. A special crew turns off the Trevi Fountain, which circulates 32 Olympic swimming pools worth of water each day. They rake all the coins into a pile. Then they pull out the vacuum to suck the coins and store them into bags. So even you are not just making a wish but also you are helping to feed Rome’s poor and homeless.
