No more migraines!

Migraines. Yup, the word itself gives me a migraine. 

For those of us who have a strenuous schedule and are constantly on the go, migraines tend to become a frequent re occurrence. More or less like the uninvited guest that shows up at the worst times and sometime refuses to leave. What do you do then to get rid of it?

Here are some ways that can ensure a migraine free day so you can go on about your day to day activities without the stress of dealing with a throbbing headache. 

  1. Mustard oil + cloves: Heat the mixture on low heat and apply the clove infused mustard oil to relieve yourself from the migraine and hey try getting a head massage to ease the nerves. 
  2. Ice: Place an icecube on the back of your neck and watch the body shock the system and reduce the impact of the migraine. 
  3. Peppermint: Anything that has peppermint be it tea or essential oil is likely to improve your well being specially when you have a migraine. 

These remedies tend to work like magic and I recommend you avoid bright white lights and loud noises when you do get a migraine. Try to rest for a little while and wake up fresh to take on the world. But remember, one step at a time.
