This July, tooth-care experts, Oral-B, are releasing the new Oral-B Genius X with Artificial Intelligence, their smartest and most personalised toothbrush to date. Oral-B’s tracking motion research findings have monitored the brushing patterns of thousands people to help perfect each user’s own experience.
The Genius X can be connected to you phone over bluetooth via the Oral-B app, detecting the position of the brush in your mouth and providing detailed feedback, as well as giving you precise reminders as to when to clean your tongue, rinse and floss. The app also gives visual guidance during brushing, so you never miss a spot.
Oral-B Smile Director, and revered London Cosmetic Dentist, Dr Uchenna Okoye, tell us, “The Genius X brush is a great tool to help perfect your brushing technique. I often see patients who I can tell aren’t brushing correctly and I spend time with them teaching the correct technique to ensure they are looking after their teeth and gums properly at home. The Genius X also includes a tongue brushing mode to help improve overall oral health. Often we find most odour-causing bacteria on the tongue and therefore vitally important to keep the tongue clean too.”
