From the makers of ‘Ek Thi Marium’ came another mega project ‘Baaghi’, biopic on Qandeel Baloch highlighting the topic of honour killing starring Saba Qamar as Qandeel Baloch.
Direction is by Farooq Rind with a star studded cast which includes Sarmad Khoosat, Ali Kazmi and Osman Khalid Butt, with Saba playing the lead.
Saba Qamar starrer Baaghi aired on 27th July. The drama quickly reached the top spot right away.
The drama based on the life and murder of the slain social media star, Qandeel Baloch, where Sarmad Khoosat essayed the role of the brother who put an end to the life of Qandeel.
Baaghi became a favorite right after its first episode, not because it is based on the life story of the late controversial, social media figure, Qandeel Baloch but because Saba Qamar shone bright as Fouzia, and viewers instantly recognized that.
