Saif Ali Khan to star in Netflix’s first Indian series “Sacred Games”

After their baby, Taimur, both Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are back to screens. Saif Ali Khan becomes first Bollywood star to lead Netflix series “Sacred Games”, where he will play the role of Sartaj Singh in the series.

“Saif Ali Khan is a true pioneer and risk-taker in Indian cinema, and we could not be more delighted to be working with him on Sacred Games,” said Erik Barmack, the Vice President of international original series at Netflix.

The release date is not yet given, Sacred Games is based on a best-selling novel by Vikram Chandra and will be a bilingual series in Hindi and English. The series, to be shot on location in India
