Lets be honest all of us have tried taking a nap at work haven’t we? What could possibly go wrong if we nod off for a few hours every day at our workplace? Well, a woman’s habit of sleeping during office hours kind of costed the State of California an amount as massive as $40,000!
The woman was working for the Department of Motor Vehicles in California. According to the findings of a state audit, she spent a large amount of her time sleeping on her work desk costing the state $40,000.
The most astonishing part of this story remains that after spending at least 3 hours a day sleeping at work during a four-year period without letting the supervisors know is something that doesn’t happen every day. However, now she has some serious explaining to do!
