Mom was the 300th and last film of legendary star Sridevi. The film didn’t only won critical acclaim but also turned out to be a huge commercial success at the box office. The film also went on to win two National Awards including Best Background Score for AR Rahman and Best Actress for Sridevi marking the first posthumous win in the category.
Now the makers, have announced that the last film of this legendary will release in China on March 22. Since it is a female-oriented film, we can expect Mom to perform well in China as ventures which had female protagonist have performed phenomenally well in the Chinese market and the classic examples of that are Dangal, Secret Superstar and Hichki.
