Valentine’s Day celebrations banned in Islamabad!

According to recent reports, a ban has been imposed on the celebrations Valentine’s Day across the capital of Pakistan – Islamabad. More on the issue, Valentine’s Day related festivities have been banned in public places as well as on an official notice.

It is also known that all media channels have been restricted along with PEMRA being ordered to send out notifications banning any such promotions of the particular day.

Arguing on the fact that the day is not part of Muslim tradition, no public celebration regarding Valentine’s Day will be tolerated.
