Two of America’s pop singers Lady Gaga, and Madonna got their official data hacked which included confidential and non-disclosure agreements, contracts, addresses, and private information.
HBO‘s Last Week Tonight, Tonight With John Oliver and Facebook were also on the hacker’s hit list.
The felony was conducted by a group of prominent hackers, the first news of the security violation surfaced last weekend on the dark web forums when the gang uploaded a contract for Madonna’s 2019-20 Madame X tour with Live Nation as proof.
This doesn’t appear to be a ransomware attack because it’s still not clear as to what the hackers demand yet.
The media and law firm based in New York confirmed the fact that their internal data security was compromised and breached because of the attack.
