Pakistan Fashion Industry Promoting Despicable Evils

Fashion industry and people who represent them are major contributors in changing the mindset of the youth. The fashion industry of Pakistan is growing day by day, but does that mean we should forget our basic norms and values?

A fashion shoot by Ali Xeeshan took over social media for romanticizing abuse and harassment. It’s not okay to glamorize violence against women. No wonder his collection is way too good but the photo is what pulls me away. The shoot stars Pakistani top model Amna Babar along with Hasnain Lahiri, shot by Abdullah Haris films.

Another recent shoot of Crimson Luxe by Saira Shakira, featuring the gorgeous Sanam Saeed was seen promoting eve teasing and harassment.

Sanam Saeed and Saira Shakira are both known for their charming and moderate personalities, then what made them promote such despicable evils?

Three years back a shoot “Be my slave” was heavily bashed for being racist.

Celebrities and people should speak up about social issues instead of promoting things which are not part of our culture. When will these gross attention seeking antics and bad display of racism and harassment end?
